meditationSince it is clear that Alan Quasha has, over the years, had a lot on his plate in terms of his education and business dealings, one might begin to wonder how he deals with it all.  He was asked this question in an interview about a year ago and he said that he manages his life with the help of meditation.  “I have found that, for me, meditation is a very good tool to help you be at peace with yourself on a regular basis, and be able to juggle a lot of things without getting too excited or letting the bad or good things that happen every day change the way you feel about yourself or the people around you.”
Meditation has a great reputation for helping people relieve stress in their lives, simultaneously achieving balance.  It gives one the capacity to become aware of their surroundings and transfer this into their everyday lives. It also helps one develop focus in everything they do, through this awareness.  It brings one back to the present.
Alan Quasha Benefiting From Meditation
Clearly all of the skills one potentially can develop through meditation, would help make for success in all areas of one’s life.  If there is proof of this at all, Alan Quasha, President of Quadrant Management, Inc. and co-Chairman of Carret Asset Management, LLC, could be it.  For example, when he makes a mistake in business or life, Quasha sees that it is merely “a fact of life” rather than let it overwhelm him.  In addition, part of the whole educational process is making mistakes.  So rather than get angry in such a situation, Alan Quasha is able to move on.  He thereafter attempts to be “fairly laid back” in such situations.
